Tannhäuser Sterben & das Tod create their music with loops from voice, bass, synthesizers, field recordings, processed and manipulated in real-time with fx-pedals, samplers and computer software. Their musical language is inspired by Ambient, Postrock, Dub, Kraut and Minimal Music. The Berlin based duo is Thomas Mahmoud (The Oliver Twist Kooperation, Aggro Cologne, Ives#1, Ex- Von Spar) and Gerald Mandl (Mediengruppe Telekommander).
