Altin Village & Mine February News ahead. Thanks for your time.
A late welcome to 2010! There's so much to do, so little time to do it. Here goes some information real quick.
As the end of 2009 was a little troublesome in terms of records not being released in time we want to start off with some good news on our latest releases. All records, including Aa's - Glossy 12", Shokei's - Split 7" with The Falcon Five and the late bloomer "Wave Like Home" by almighty Future Islands are still / finally available! As always go check our Online-Store or your preferred Record Shop to catch a copy.
On we go with some upcoming stuff as people long for constant entertainment. In Spring 2010 we will give birth to two fine records namely Grampall Jookabox first album "Scientific Cricket" first time on vinyl including 2 unreleased bonus tracks! Second is Yage's "Some Time of a Time" 2x12" discography. Wasn't that supposed to be out last year already? Jawohl, Sir but there's some trouble here and there and everywhere which prevented us from releasing it in time! Huge SORRY for that but just hold on a little longer and things will be fine!
Well, what else can we tell? Ehm, yea right we have a split series in the making! To be precise, 8 artists contributing to 4 Split 12" released during 2010. All 4 records will relate to each other in a visual way. Part #1 will be shared by ONEIDA and PTERODACTYL, released this spring in time for Pterodactyl's Europe-Tour starting march 2010! Numbers #2, #3 and #4 will include following artists: DD.MM.YYYY (on euro tour now!), WOMEN, PIT ER PAT, SHOOTING SPIRES, CHAD VANGAALEN and XIU XIU!
And there's more to do! We already spent some good amount of time preparing for this years Festival, Number 3 that is. Here's what we can tell so far:
